Created for my yokai calendar on Patreon, this illustration features a kitsune woman draped in a kimono, accompanied by a fox sitting next to her. In the snowy landscape, a branch of camellia emerges, while it lights the scene with a lantern. Through this composition, I sought to capture both the magic of the kitsune and the captivating atmosphere of winter, combining these symbols to bring to life this yokai, guardian of the month of December. This illustrated calendar highlights a creature from Japanese folklore for each month of the year, in harmony with the seasons and their symbols. Each illustration reveals a fragment of this fascinating mythological universe. The project is available on Patreon, where each month, a new illustration enriches this collection.

Réalisée pour mon calendrier yokai sur Patreon, cette illustration met en scène une femme kitsune drapée dans un kimono, accompagnée d’un renard assis à ses côtés. Dans le paysage enneigé, une branche de camélia émerge, tandis qu’elle éclaire la scène d’une lanterne. À travers cette composition, j’ai cherché à capturer à la fois la magie du kitsune et l’atmosphère envoûtante de l’hiver, associant ces symboles pour donner vie à ce yokai, gardien du mois de décembre.
